YARN CHARACTERISTICS

Max EX2 is made from a combination of two yarns. The main fibre is a ribbed Max yarn made from C8 polymer, which is soft to touch (player friendly) and very durable. This is combined with a curly, “thatch” yarn support layer, to create a heavy multi-sport turf. The two tone matt green Max fibres add to the overall natural look. Max yarn has an 8 year warranty.

PLAY CHARACTERISTICS

Max EX2 is a specially designed multi-sport system, designed to be installed over shock pads to provide a great football performance and to meet the new World Rugby pile height specification. The longer Max fibres provide a “green” top, whilst the curly yarn (“thatch”) further down in the turf, stabilises the infill layer, at the base of the turf. This provides better grip and reduces infill “splash”. Max EX2 50 can also be used for recreational/curriculum hockey.
