Bessie, what is your role at CCGrass?

I am the newest member of CCGrass Europe, and my role is to support sales and marketing. Starting in February this year, I was able to settle in, learning the ropes and meeting the members of the team. Not long after, however, the Covid-19 pandemic hit, which has allowed me more time to direct my energy towards the UK market. My pet project has been the newsletter, CCGrass Turf Matters, and I have enjoyed writing, collating articles and information, which we believe is relevant to the artificial grass market.

I’ve also worked closely with The Non-League Paper, to raise awareness of CCGrass and the projects we are working on this summer in the English National League.

Why did you decide to work for CCGrass?

My previous role was in a completely different industry, however, prior to this, I worked part time at SIS Pitches, supporting the marketing team there. I learnt many skills from an excellent and impactful marketing manager, experience which I felt I could bring to CCGrass, supporting the development of the brand in the UK market.

What is your opinion of the CCGrass brand?

Very impressive. CCGrass in China, focuses on promoting the company and products, which means that in Europe, it is important that we reflect and promote the same values. These are very clear, as shown on our website. This has made it much easier to understand the company, our philosophy and reflect this in the work I do to help promote CCGrass.

What has it been like working for CCGrass?

I’ve really enjoyed my time working with CCGrass so far. The team has been very welcoming and helpful in settling me in. Due to everyone’s scattered locations across Europe and Covid-19, whilst not meeting in person, it has been important to keep communication high. We have made the most of Zoom, meeting each week, which has enabled us to use our time effectively, and I hope further developed our presence in the sports market.
